You can plant the tubers of the sword flower in spring at a depth of about 7-10 cm. First loosen the soil well and spread a layer of sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This will allow rainwater to drain away well under the tubers. Space the tubers 10-12 cm apart. When planting, add good quality potting soil. Mix the heavy (clay) soil with sand before planting.
