The HECHT 546 BSW is a self-propelled petrol lawnmower. It is equipped with a 4-stroke Briggs&Stratton engine with a cylinder capacity of 140 cm3, which delivers 2.6 HP.
The mower is based on a sturdy steel frame with a 46 cm working width blade. The blade is fixed to the blade holder with a central anti-twist device, which causes the blade to slip when hitting an obstacle. This solution for securing the knife can in many cases prevent damage to the motor or distortion of the shaft. The cutting height can be adjusted from 25 to 70 mm in seven positions.
The grass can be collected in a 65 l textile basket which, thanks to its material, is not only light but also helps the air to circulate, making it easy to fill. The upper part of the basket is equipped with an aerodynamic level indicator.
The lawnmower is started up by means of a lever.
The machine is very easy to use and is equipped with a pulley to facilitate cold starting of the engine. The engine is controlled by a lever on the handle, while the other lever here operates the self-propelled mower. The travel speed is approximately 3.35 km/h. The handle can be closed quickly and easily, which you will appreciate, for example, when transporting or storing.
