Planting:
Eremurus tubers can be planted in spring. Eremurus is frost sensitive, so be careful of late night frosts. Eremurus Eremurus is a very hardy species, so it is always a good idea to dig a large planting hole, loosen the soil and fill it with good potting soil. Carefully place the tubers in the planting hole and cover with 3-5 cm. of soil. Plant the tubers 50 cm apart. Water the tubers immediately after planting.
Care:
Eremurus flowers most profusely on a full day. It combines well with perennials and other eremurus species. The long pink flowers are really eye-catching when opening in the margins. Eremurus is also an excellent cut flower and has a long vase life. The best time to cut it is early in the day. Immediately place the stems in lukewarm water with cut flowering tape. After flowering, store the tubers in a frost-free place and they can be enjoyed for years.
